Limit 25 Riders

Join us for BRA~SU ~ Bike Ride Across Scenic Utah ~ an incredible road expedition that will introduce you to 4 states (Nevada, Utah, Arizona, & Colorado); 7 National Parks(Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Glen Canyon, Mesa Verde, Arches, & Canyonlands); 4 National Monuments (Grand Staircase – Escalante, Natural Bridges, Monument Valley, & Hovenweep); 2 National Forests (Dixie & Manti-La Sal) and 3 nations(Navajo Nation, Ute Nation, & United States of America) where you will view some of the most scenic, remote, awe inspiring, and magnificent country in the world. You will have the opportunity to ride through country that is basically unchanged since before the first white eyes set sight on it and has been the least explored section of the United States. The panoramic views, scenic outlooks, pristine air, and picturesque country will leave you awestruck and breathless at the wonder of this country.  This tour is limited to 25 riders.

This fully supported adventure sets out on the road June 2nd with three options: 2 full weeks of excitement and adventure June 2nd through June 17th. Or one magnificent week June 2nd through June 8th; or one week of incredible riding from June 8th through June 17th.  Besides the incredible sunsets you will enjoy mouthwatering meals every evening at your campsite and a satisfying breakfast to begin each new adventurous day. Camping fees, Park and Monument entrance fees, breakfast and dinners, and full SAG service included.

This expedition is meant as a camping adventure.  For those that wish the comforts of a real bed at night there are motels and B&B’s to choose from at every stop except two (Please contact us and we will be happy to help you make your reservations at these motels and B&B’s).  If you are in need of camping equipment Bike2Bike can supply you with tents, mattresses, & sleeping bags for a nominal fee.

Equipment - Weather in the West is extremely unpredictable, one of our favorite comments regarding spring weather is “if you don’t like the weather, wait 20 minutes and it will change”  Due to the time of year and the varied altitudes we will be traveling in it is necessary to pack accordingly.  It is not uncommon to have freezing temperatures during the nights at altitude while the days will be 60 to 70.  In lower altitudes temperature can reach the 90′s during the heat of day.  It is normal to have 30 to 40 temperature swings between night and day.  Because of these temperature swings it is best to be prepared.  Bring a warm jacket, leggings or tights, a skull cap, gloves, a rain jacket, and arms.  While we usually carry a supply of 700 mm tires and tubes, if your bike requires a different size please bring some extra.  There are few if any bike shops in the majority of where we will be traveling.  Please bring plenty of your favorite sun screen, you will be exposed to a great deal of sunshine and at altitudes where sun protection is necessary.  This is a camping expedition so please remember your tent and sleeping bag & mattress (we do have tents and air beds for rent). We will have some power available to charge camera batteries, mattress pumps, phones, and computers.

Additional Information

With the exception of 2.2 miles this expedition is on well maintained paved roads.

Total mileage = 815 miles  Daily average = 67 miles

All nights, except one, will be spent at campgrounds; Every night, except 2 there will be motels or B&B’s in the vicinity if someone desires a more luxurious evening’s rest (motel accommodations are not included in the fee).
